Monitoring debt capital market activity and trends for financial institutions. Bachelor or Master student with strong academic achievements in Business or Economics required. Flexitime, remote work possible, steep learning curve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Student (4th semester onwards) or Master Student
  • Very good academic achievements, preferably in Business or Economics; Focus on Banking, Capital Markets
  • Knowledge and interest in Debt Capital Market products (skewed towards Financial Institutions)
  • Interest in economic topics
  • Bloomberg experience desirable
  • Excellent English skills (verbal and written)
  • German language skills (plus)
  • Further language skills welcome
  • Good electronic data processing skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Ability to cover a variety of tasks in parallel

Tasks

  • Monitor debt capital market activity and trends
  • Analyze market trends and activity
  • Contribute to client pitch books and supporting materials
  • Prepare regular, client-specific market updates
  • Draft deal statistics and summaries
  • Track primary and secondary market flows
  • Research industry-specific topics of relevant issuers
  • Focus on Fixed Income products (covered bonds, senior bonds, regulatory capital instruments)
  • Maintain and develop various databases

Education

  • Currently in higher education

  • English – Business Fluent
  • German – Basic
