Intern - Deep Learning for 3D Display Systems(m/w/x)
Researching deep learning for 3D display systems, optimizing projection and rendering algorithms at a global ICT solutions provider. Proven experience in deep learning model development and advanced Python/DL framework skills required. Healthy meals, German and Mandarin language courses.
Requirements
- Enrollment in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program in optics, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
- Proven experience in development of deep learning models
- Strong theoretical and practical background in signal processing, image processing, and/or 3D computer vision
- Advanced programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Familiarity with 3D display technologies and transformer-based deep learning
- Experience with AI model deployment on computationally limited physical hardware
- Excellent abilities in problem identification, analysis and solving, and systematic and goal-oriented work approach
- Enthusiasm to work as part of an international team and fluent communication skills in English
Tasks
- Conduct research on deep learning techniques
- Develop algorithmic methods for computational imaging
- Design and optimize projection algorithms
- Enhance rendering algorithms for real-time performance
- Reduce artifacts in 3D display systems
- Improve spatial resolution and visual quality
- Analyze application requirements for software solutions
- Create simulation and proof-of-concept prototypes
- Explore state-of-the-art computational display methods
- Track top-level publications and conduct patent research
- Analyze industry trends for innovation opportunities
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners
