Requirements

  • •Enrollment in bachelor/master program in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar
  • •Prior experience with AI/ML or computer vision methods and frameworks, preferably for medical image processing
  • •Proficiency in one or more general purpose coding languages, preferably Python
  • •Familiarity with optimization, scientific visualization libraries, and graphic user interfaces
  • •Curiosity and technology skills for algorithm development and proof of principle demonstrators
  • •Creativity, innovation, motivation, and organization
  • •Good communication skills in German and English

Currently in higher education

Tasks

  • •Work on AI and digital twin features for medical devices
  • •Design solutions for computer vision challenges
  • •Evaluate and refine approaches using real-world data
  • •Build proof-of-principle demonstrators
  • •Test solutions with product management and clinical partners
  • •Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of experts
  • •Engage in the student community at ZEISS
