  • Technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable experience
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in managing people
  • Experience of installation management
  • Experience in electrical and/or mechanical installation
  • Experience from HVDC, FACTS or Substation projects preferred
  • Fluency in English and German

Tasks

  • Lead a team of installation experts
  • Manage high-voltage AC and DC installations on site
  • Oversee installation and testing of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Manage and guide subcontractors on site
  • Support subcontracting processes for installation works
  • Plan and coordinate the Hitachi Energy team
  • Ensure project targets for safety, quality, schedule, and budget
  • Review and follow contractual documentation for project delivery
  • Lead preparation and planning in early project stages
  • Implement installation activities on site
  • Coordinate site activities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage and coach Installation Supervisors
  • Coordinate with engineering for site documentation and as-built mark-ups

Work Experience

  • 6 - 8 years

Education

  • Bachelor's degree

Languages

  • English – Business Fluent
  • German – Business Fluent
