Requirements

  • •Several years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or in a similar role
  • •Strong knowledge of AWS services, Linux system administration, and proficiency in scripting languages (Bash / Shell)
  • •Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) and configuration management tool (Ansible or similar)
  • •Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)
  • •Solid understanding of networking, security, and scaling concepts in cloud environments
  • •Experience with CI/CD systems (ideally CircleCI) and monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog, CloudWatch)
  • •Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards, ideally ISO 27001
  • •Strong problem-solving skills, structured way of working, and high reliability
  • •Excellent communication skills in English (C2 level); German is a plus
  • •Based in Munich (preferred) or willing to work remotely
  • •Programming knowledge (Ruby is a plus)

  • •Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for the SaaS platform on AWS
  • •Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of systems
  • •Operate, monitor, and improve Linux-based environments
  • •Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast and reliable releases
  • •Automate recurring tasks using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
  • •Enhance operational efficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible
  • •Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions
  • •Drive incident management and root cause analysis
  • •Contribute to IT certification programs, including documentation and audits
  • •Collaborate with software developers for smooth deployments and production stability
  • •Support the introduction of new technologies and best practices in DevOps
