Description

In this role, you will be at the forefront of cyber security, configuring and deploying advanced technologies while leading architectural efforts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve identifying compliance gaps, solving complex challenges, and mentoring the team to enhance their skills.

Requirements

• •Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
• •Minimum 3 years of practical experience in a Security Engineer role
• •Knowledge of cloud security, vulnerability management, and security compliance frameworks
• •Mastery in SecDevOps practices such as Security as Code, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Secure Coding Practices
• •Experience with cloud native security platforms like CNAPP, CWPP, CSPM, CIEM
• •In-depth technical knowledge of cloud platforms AWS, Azure, and GCP
• •Previous work experience with security incident response
• •Experience in a dynamic environment requiring collaboration across organizations
• •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• •Willingness to expand and grow
• •Excellent written and oral communication skills
• •Keen curiosity about all aspects of cyber security
• •Use industry sources to stay current with Cloud security issues
• •Personable, reliable team player capable of working independently
• •Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties
• •Commitment to maintaining daily office presence for team collaboration
• •Willingness to undergo governmental security clearance process

Tasks

• •Configure and maintain cyber security technologies
• •Administer and deploy IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and SOAR
• •Conduct cloud vulnerability assessments
• •Utilize cloud-native security technologies like CSPM and CASB
• •Provide technical leadership in cyber security architecture and design
• •Develop configuration controls and automations for compliance
• •Identify gaps in processes, workflows, and controls
• •Solve complex problems with data-driven recommendations
• •Mentor team members and support their growth and development
