Information Security Engineer(m/w/x)

Description

You will take ownership of the security landscape by leading incident response and managing the SOC environment to ensure robust protection against evolving digital threats.

Requirements

• •At least 3 years experience in SecOps and incident management
• •Experience in Fintech or RegTech company ideally
• •Technical background in SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, and endpoint security
• •Proven experience working with ISO 27001
• •Knowledge of DORA is a plus
• •Experience with IAM solutions and Microsoft 365 administration
• •Structured, proactive working style and analytical skills
• •Ability to collaborate across diverse teams
• •German and English skills at B2 level

Tasks

• •Lead security and incident processes
• •Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis
• •Implement mitigation strategies for security threats
• •Design and maintain the security stack
• •Drive development of the SOC environment
• •Manage vulnerability monitoring and threat hunting
• •Establish proactive breach detection processes
• •Translate security policies into technical controls
• •Review control implementation across various teams
• •Act as an escalation point for access management
• •Support ISO 27001 and other security audits
• •Collaborate with IT, Development, and governance teams
