- Category management experience across multiple departments/divisions
Tasks
- Lead discussions on weekly merchandising cadence.
- Lead discussions on assortment reviews.
- Lead discussions on base pricing and promotions.
- Lead discussions on allocation and replenishment.
- Share merchandising touchpoints with supply chain, operations, finance, marketing teams.
- Whiteboard detailed narratives for retail personas.
- Identify workflow decision points, data dependencies, pain points.
- Validate demo scenarios against real-world practice.
- Create scenario briefs with realistic data stories.
- Describe practitioner decision-making for AI workflows.
- Identify action triggers for AI workflow design.
- Determine automation value for AI workflow design.
- Review and stress-test new features as a practitioner.
- Co-author blog posts, white papers, and industry articles.
- Participate in podcasts and webinars as a practitioner.
- Attend and contribute to retailer networking events.
- Contribute to RELEX's thought leadership on agentic retail.
