Tasks
- •Lead and manage up to 20 production employees in coordination with the group leader
- •Enhance employee motivation through regular communication and tracking of actions
- •Develop team members by exemplifying and teaching GKN culture principles
- •Organize personnel deployment and training while ensuring compliance with processes, quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines
- •Coordinate workflow and manage work resources
- •Plan production orders in detail and monitor production metrics to achieve quality and quantity targets
- •Ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and quality standards in the assigned area
- •Manage budget related to costs, productivity, and hours
- •Guarantee product quality and continuously improve processes
- •Promote the consistent application of the Lean Operating Model (LOM)
- •Foster a culture aligned with GKN Aerospace's 'Great Place To Work' values by modeling behaviors and recognizing contributions
- •Hold team members accountable for embodying GKN culture principles
- •Provide honest performance appraisals while supporting and coaching individuals

- •Contribute to the design and execution of the Value Stream future state
- •Collaborate with other team leaders to optimize performance outcomes
- •Hold functional support staff accountable for adhering to global standards
- •Ensure disciplined execution of Daily Management and Standardized work
- •Drive team engagement by defining and implementing engagement actions
- •Comply with legal and regulatory requirements and ensure staff awareness of policies
- •Manage a zone budget as agreed with the group leader
- •Take ownership of difficult decisions related to the zone
