Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience with agile software development methodologies

  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • •Hands-on experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 and ADS protocol
  • •Experience in API design with gRPC
  • •Exposure to containerization with Docker
  • •Familiarity with HIL/SIL setups or test automation
  • •Understanding of industrial networking or safety-critical software constraints
  • •Resume submission in English

Work Experience

approx. 1 - 4 years

Tasks

  • •Design and implement middleware for Beckhoff TwinCAT PLCs using ADS.NET
  • •Maintain the middleware layer for effective communication
  • •Expose real-time telemetry and control interfaces through APIs like gRPC, WebSockets, or REST
  • •Implement symbol mapping and subscription handling
  • •Develop reconnect logic and a simulation mode for testing workflows
  • •Collaborate with HMI, PLC, and test engineers on data models and performance requirements
  • •Ensure fault tolerance and clear observability in the test infrastructure
  • •Contribute to the long-term maintainability of the system
