Industrial Engineer(m/w/x)
Supporting plant alignment and technology selection for automotive seating systems. Industry 4.0 process implementation and production metrics monitoring. Automotive industry experience and simulation software knowledge required. 30 days vacation, flexible working hours.
Requirements
- Completed technical degree or comparable qualification
- Experience in Industrial Engineering, ideally in automotive industry
- Knowledge in production planning, logistics processes, and quality assurance
- Proficient in simulation software and ERP systems
- Understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and technical documentation
- Communication strength, teamwork skills, and structured working method
- Willingness to travel for national and international projects
Tasks
- Support strategic alignment of new and existing plants
- Advise on technology selection, plant specification, procurement, and acceptance
- Identify and implement new technologies and processes for Industry 4.0
- Monitor and develop relevant production metrics in Industrial Engineering
- Support production processes in logistics, manufacturing methods, and quality processes
- Create load specifications for conveying, assembly, and load carriers
- Accept and release operating materials according to agreed load specifications
- Apply simulation software for plant, facility, and container planning
- Plan logistics processes between customer and plant
- Design assembly procedures, plant layouts, workstations, and material flows
- Coordinate closely with customer departments, internal divisions, and suppliers
- Participate in IT concept development (e.g., production control, retrieval systems)
- Contribute to supplier selection and equipment/project team tenders
- Plan internal processes, logistics chains, and buffer technology
- Participate in QVP activities like FMEA
- Create work instructions, control plans, and process documentation
- Initiate and implement process optimizations
- Conduct and coordinate simulations and audits of logistics and production processes
- Participate in investment planning and project reviews
- Implement planned measures domestically and internationally
- Organize and conduct KVP workshops
- Conduct plant audits according to MAFACT standards
