- Strong Incoterms, customs, export control knowledge
- Strong international shipping documentation knowledge
- Experience managing cross-functional projects
- Experience contributing to cross-functional projects
- Excellent organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities
- Strong stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient with MS Office
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP) preferred
- Proficiency in German at B1 level or higher
- Fluency in English
Tasks
- Manage end-to-end import and export processes
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations
- Prepare and verify trade documents
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs authorities
- Resolve shipment delays and customs holds
- Maintain accurate import and export records
- Monitor regulatory updates for ongoing compliance
- Support internal and external audits
- Collaborate with internal departments for smooth operations
- Optimize transport costs and consolidate shipments
- Evaluate logistics partners for performance and cost efficiency
- Support inventory accuracy and flow optimization
- Lead process improvement projects
- Drive process standardization and digitalization
- Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives
