Requirements

• University degree in scientific, engineering, or related field
• Professional experience in laboratory or testing environments
• Leadership experience in international and intercultural environments
• Project management and resource allocation abilities
• Knowledge of quality management and accreditation standards
• Strategic mindset and strong decision-making skills
• Analytical approach and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience in change and innovation management
• Very good German and English skills
• Willingness to undertake occasional international travel

Tasks

• Manage global high-voltage laboratory operations and governance
• Ensure efficient and quality-oriented laboratory standards
• Align operations with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025
• Shape strategic direction for the laboratory landscape
• Promote innovation, digitalization, and standardization
• Plan budgets and manage financial controlling
• Oversee resource management and organizational development
• Collaborate with local managers to meet objectives
• Establish a global high-voltage laboratory organization
• Foster effective cross-site collaboration
• Execute internal and external product testing assignments
• Manage global investment projects
• Maintain a safe laboratory environment
• Comply with occupational health and safety regulations
• Lead and develop diverse laboratory teams
• Focus on capability building and professional development
• Ensure compliance with legal and normative requirements
• Monitor and improve quality management systems
• Prepare and execute laboratory audits
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration with external partners
• Document and communicate laboratory services and results
• Report improvement measures to relevant stakeholders
• Implement new technologies and digital solutions
