You will lead the safety culture at a center of excellence, ensuring compliance and driving the Zero & Beyond mission while the plant expands its submarine cable production capacity.

Requirements

  • Experience as HSE Manager in production
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
  • Experience with ISO 45001/14001
  • ISO 9001 and 500001 experience advantageous
  • Internal Auditor certification advantageous
  • Degree in OHS, Environmental Science, Engineering
  • Impactful leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Tasks

  • Manage health, safety, and environmental protection
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ISO standards
  • Implement actions for the Zero & Beyond program
  • Drive safety culture maturity across all roles
  • Communicate with management and regulatory agencies
  • Deploy safety talks, alerts, and observations
  • Ensure availability and use of safety equipment
  • Promote safe work procedures
  • Lead incident and near-miss investigations
  • Manage outcomes and lessons learned from incidents
  • Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections
  • Participate in factory 6S activities
  • Develop and conduct employee safety training
  • Plan and execute comprehensive risk assessments
  • Lead the emergency response organization
  • Maintain and test emergency response plans
  • Analyze and report on safety performance metrics
