Requirements
- Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Seniority in HSE management
- Relevant experience in leadership roles within industrial operations
- Significant HSE experience in important Chemistry/Biotech Construction project
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- High mental agility
- Ability to think strategically and implement strategy
- Proficiency in German
- Proficiency in English
- Additional languages as a plus
Tasks
- Provide HS(S)E leadership throughout project phases
- Manage Project HSE budget and negotiate service agreements
- Secure site license to operate and comply with HSE regulations
- Avoid administrative notices and lead external authority relationships
- Ensure site compliance with HSE and security regulations
- Act as primary HSE contact for regulatory authorities
- Provide HSE leadership and technical expertise to project teams
- Integrate process safety using Sanofi standards and templates
- Conduct HAZOP, training, PID review, and PSHSR programs
- Minimize environmental impact and implement risk mitigation
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits
- Identify and deliver HSE training programs for project personnel
- Ensure continuous education on safety and environmental practices
- Set up HSE governance for construction work phases
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, contractors, and stakeholders
- Investigate incidents and near-misses
- Develop Safety Risk Reports and trend analysis
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Maintain accurate HSE performance records
- Prepare and present regular HSE reports to stakeholders
