Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, HR, Finance, or commercial apprenticeship with certified payroll specialization
- Solid payroll experience in collective bargaining agreement company, ideally Precious Metal or Metal & Electrical industry in Baden-Württemberg
- Proficiency in SAP HCM (PA and PY essential; PT or SuccessFactors a plus)
- Deep understanding of German wage tax and social security law, ERA classification system
- High discretion, detail-oriented mindset, ability to meet strict deadlines
- Fluency in German (required for legal/tariff compliance)
- Good command of English
Tasks
- Manage and execute monthly payroll using SAP HCM
- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Apply and monitor IG Metall collective agreement provisions
- Manage ERA structures, performance bonuses, and industry payments
- Maintain employee master data in SAP HCM
- Optimize payroll and time management schemas in SAP (PA, PY, PT)
- Handle electronic reporting (DEÜV, tax statements)
- Serve as primary contact for social security, tax authorities, and auditors
- Advise employees and managers on payroll and tariff classifications
- Respond to time-tracking queries
