High-Voltage Laboratory Manager(m/w/x)
Global laboratory operations and governance for connectivity and sensor solutions. Leadership experience managing distributed international lab units required. International coordination across global lab sites.
Requirements
- University degree in scientific or engineering discipline (ideally electrical engineering or related)
- Several years professional experience in laboratory or testing environments (preferably high-voltage technology or comparable industries)
- Proven leadership experience in international/intercultural environment, managing distributed units
- Project management abilities (task prioritization, resource allocation, deadline management)
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems, accreditation standards, regulatory frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025)
- Strategic/entrepreneurial mindset, strong decision-making/execution skills, excellent communication/assertiveness
- Analytical/structured working approach, strong problem-solving skills, integrative/self-driven personality
- Experience in change/innovation management, digital systems/process solutions (advantage)
- Very good German and English skills (written/spoken, business fluent)
- Willingness for occasional international business travel

- Oversee global high-voltage laboratory operations.
- Drive global laboratory development and governance.
- Ensure efficient, safe, and quality operations.
- Align operations with corporate objectives.

- Shape strategic laboratory direction.

- Continuously develop the laboratory organization.
- Organize and manage high-voltage laboratories.

- Collaborate with local laboratory managers.
- Coordinate task and objective fulfillment.
- Establish and maintain global laboratory organization.
- Ensure effective cross-site collaboration.
- Plan and execute global laboratory assignments.
- Plan and execute global product testing.
- Plan and execute global investment projects.
- Ensure a safe laboratory environment.
- Comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Cooperate with local managers on safety.
- Lead and develop all laboratory teams.
- Promote team diversity and capability building.
- Foster professional development for teams.
- Ensure compliance with legal and normative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal company requirements.
- Oversee occupational safety and quality management compliance.
- Oversee accreditation compliance.
- Monitor and improve quality management systems.
- Monitor and improve laboratory processes.
- Prepare and execute quality audits.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
