Health & Safety Manager EMEA(m/w/x)
EHS compliance leadership for material flow solutions across EMEA non-manufacturing sites. International stakeholder experience and ISO 14001/50001 certification implementation required. Home-office contract, flexible hours, generous holidays.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, EHS Law, or comparable qualification
- Strong understanding of EMEA health, safety, environmental laws/regulations
- Experience with international stakeholders, change management, or project leadership in EMEA
- Proven track record implementing safety improvements and achieving ISO 14001/50001 certifications
- Confident, proactive personality with responsibility, engagement, and focus under pressure
- Strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence for complex stakeholder situations
- Passion for building safety culture, inspiring people, and improving H&S standards
Tasks
- Ensure EHS compliance across EMEA non-manufacturing locations
- Provide EHS leadership and expertise
- Develop and maintain EHS programs and policies
- Implement EHS training and standards
- Ensure compliance with hazardous and non-hazardous waste regulations
- Manage hazardous materials and ergonomics
- Protect the environment
- Lead incident prevention and investigation
- Monitor safety performance
- Conduct EHS audits
- Report key EHS metrics to management
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, engineering, facilities, and executive management
- Drive strategic EHS initiatives
- Manage department budgets
- Identify and mitigate risks
- Support continuous improvement
- Foster an incident-free culture
