Tasks
- Develop and implement regional procurement strategies
- Manage third-party procurement volume for EMEA projects
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Sales, Project Management, and regional leadership
- Engage early in sales phase to define make-or-buy and sourcing strategies
- Conduct market and trend analyses for supply, competitiveness, and price stability
- Lead supplier negotiations focusing on cost, quality, and risk mitigation
- Ensure supply continuity and active risk management
- Contribute to project profitability through optimized cost-performance ratios
- Deliver savings targets and EBIT contributions for the EMEA region
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships
- Implement supplier segmentation and performance review processes
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with Global Procurement and Category Management
- Harmonize and improve procurement processes and tools
- Create and analyze relevant procurement KPIs for the region
- Report on procurement KPIs and performance
