Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years in Biologics GMP manufacturing with operational experience
- Demonstrated leadership, team results, and cross-departmental collaboration
- Proficient English (required)
- German proficiency is a plus
Tasks
- Lead OE & PMO agenda
- Drive business results aligned with Dedicated to Excellence strategy
- Develop and coach OE Business Partners and OE/PMO Managers
- Coach Mammalian Operations leadership team
- Embed Lean Six Sigma principles
- Sustain culture of continuous improvement
- Define OE & PMO strategy for Mammalian Operations Visp
- Establish continuous improvement goals
- Implement PMO governance for Tier 3 and 4 levels
- Support all LT topics
- Drive Lonza operational excellence roadmap
- Assess progress and define actions
- Align and prioritize innovation initiatives
- Ensure synergies with wider transformational objectives
- Manage OE and PMO Managers daily
- Lead multidisciplinary execution teams
- Work with functional leaders to set continuous improvement goals
- Liaise with finance to build improvement budgets
- Validate actual improvement ROI results
- Review, report, and improve metrics
- Implement tracking systems for monitoring
- Uncover and assess lean opportunities
- Prioritize projects with greatest benefit
- Support project delivery with sustainable steps
- Strengthen collaboration and best-practice exchange
- Maintain high-performance team culture
- Mentor and coach team members
- Train team members in Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Lead and facilitate improvement workshops
- Perform other duties as assigned
