Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Natural Science or Engineering
  • Completed qualification as Occupational Safety Specialist (Sicherheitsfachkraft / SiFa) or equivalent
  • Leadership and change-management capabilities

  • Strong project management skills
  • Coordinating cross-functional safety or CAPEX projects

  • Hands-on operational experience in Occupational Safety

  • Deep knowledge of German occupational safety legislation
  • Knowledge of relevant DGUV regulations
  • Knowledge of corporate EHS governance frameworks
  • In-depth understanding of ISO 45001
  • Demonstrated experience operating certified OH&S management systems

Tasks

  • Lead strategic and operational Occupational Safety Management
  • Collaborate with EHS departments and business partners
  • Serve as Safety Representative for German legal entities
  • Ensure interaction with German Executive Board
  • Drive continuous improvement in Occupational Safety Management
  • Ensure compliance with national legislation and corporate EHS requirements
  • Maintain ISO 45001 certification
  • Define and implement KPI-driven safety objectives
  • Monitor safety objectives to enhance accident prevention
  • Reduce risks and strengthen safety culture through data-based management
  • Develop and optimize safety processes and tools
  • Harmonize safety and product safety governance standards
  • Evaluate product safety risks and define control measures
  • Support cross-functional teams in product safety processes
  • Drive engagement and behavioral safety initiatives
  • Implement human-factors-based improvements
  • Ensure effective training and competency development
  • Provide expert guidance on Occupational Safety and Product Safety
  • Ensure CAPEX projects comply with legal and corporate EHS requirements
  • Integrate ISO 45001-aligned risk-management principles
