Tasks

  • Provide disciplinary and technical leadership to the IT Operations team.
  • Lead the 1st to 3rd level service desk.
  • Ensure timely incident resolution.
  • Fulfill user requests promptly.
  • Consult other departments on technical topics.
  • Support development teams on technical projects.
  • Manage IT security for servers and networks.
  • Secure end-user devices across all locations.
  • Implement and enforce security policies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for compliance.
  • Align with portfolio cybersecurity standards.
  • Provide required security reports.
  • Manage network infrastructure, including routers, WLAN, and VPN.
  • Manage connectivity to cloud networks and sites.
  • Oversee German site networks (Berlin, Selmsdorf).
  • Support remote sites in Sweden and Norway.
  • Conduct periodic site visits.
  • Manage internet and telecommunications contracts.
  • Maintain hardware and software infrastructure.
  • Manage system patching and upgrades.
  • Oversee system backups.
  • Administer vCenter environments in Selmsdorf and Berlin.
  • Maintain and back up vCenter environments.
  • Manage user and identity administration across the Rapid Group.
  • Administer Hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Administer group-wide tools and services.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, SharePoint, RingCentral, Notion, and Bitwarden.
  • Plan and deliver tool introductions.
  • Manage tool consolidations and upgrades.
  • Manage IT vendors and service providers.
  • Oversee IT hardware inventory and lifecycle.
  • Procure office technology, workstations, and employee devices.
  • Manage software purchasing and billing.
  • Administer software licenses.
  • Track and approve software invoices.
  • Continuously improve core IT processes.
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and access management.
  • Maintain the IT knowledge base.
  • Develop guides, runbooks, and SOPs.
  • Partner with HR and adjacent teams.
  • Streamline joiner/mover/leaver workflows.
  • Manage timely provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Continuously improve IT operations.
  • Automate IT operations.
