Description

In this role, you will lead the transformation of finance across an international investment group, focusing on cost management and performance transparency. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve aligning controlling functions, developing reporting frameworks, and partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic insights.

Requirements

• •10-15+ years of experience in group controlling, ideally within a holding, family-owned, or PE-backed structure
• •Business fluency in German and English
• •Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA), BI tools (e.g. Power BI), and financial modeling
• •Proven track record in designing and leading cross-entity controlling processes and cost management programs
• •Demonstrated success in driving finance transformation, implementing harmonized standards, and introducing modern finance tooling/automation
• •Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management experience across matrix environments

Tasks

• •Lead strategic finance transformation across the investment group
• •Align controlling functions across the Holding and subsidiaries
• •Centralize cost management and harmonize steering processes
• •Drive performance transparency through advanced reporting and BI frameworks
• •Build and professionalize the group-wide controlling function
• •Define and implement harmonized controlling standards across entities
• •Ensure consistent workflows for budgeting, forecasting, approvals, and KPI logic
• •Develop centralized cost management and strategic cost control initiatives
• •Set up and evolve reporting and performance dashboards
• •Integrate systems like SAP and Power BI
• •Act as a key partner to senior leaders, providing clarity and insight
• •Leverage technology and innovation in finance for enhanced efficiency
