Requirements

  • •Leadership experience in B2B SaaS or tech scale-up
  • •Strong foundation in accounting (HGB)
  • •Ability to think strategically and commercially
  • •Proven experience owning end-to-end finance functions
  • •Building scalable finance operations
  • •Hands-on mindset with attention to detail
  • •Solid understanding of SaaS business models
  • •Understanding of metrics and revenue recognition
  • •Experience leading audits
  • •Working with external advisors and stakeholders
  • •Strong analytical skills
  • •Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • •Process-driven and operationally strong
  • •Motivated to continuously improve structures and systems
  • •Independent and pragmatic problem-solver
  • •Proactive and can-do attitude
  • •Business-fluent in English and German

Work Experience

approx. 4 - 6 years

Tasks

  • •Elevate finance operations to enhance reporting and efficiency
  • •Lead the entire Finance function, including Accounting and FP&A
  • •Develop and grow a high-performing finance team
  • •Coordinate with external accounting, tax, and audit partners
  • •Act as a strategic finance partner to the executive team
  • •Translate business strategy into financial plans and KPIs
  • •Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital
  • •Establish and optimize finance operations and processes
  • •Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting
  • •Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
  • •Lead audit processes and ensure compliance with local GAAP
  • •Collaborate with Revenue, Product, and Go-To-Market teams
  • •Support pricing, unit economics, and growth initiatives
  • •Drive implementation and optimization of finance tools
  • •Improve procurement, vendor management, and cost control
