Requirements

  • •Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent qualification
  • •10+ years in senior engineering roles
  • •Proven track record in transferring prototypes to series production
  • •Strong systems engineering understanding across mechanics, electronics, embedded/software, and sensing
  • •Hands-on experience with DFM/DFA, FMEA, change and configuration management
  • •Experience in building and leading interdisciplinary teams
  • •Data-driven way of working
  • •Clear, structured communication and strong stakeholder management
  • •Fluent English (min. C1); German is a plus

Education

Bachelor's degree
OR
Vocational certification

Work Experience

10 - 15 years

Tasks

  • •Translate innovations into series-ready solutions
  • •Define and develop functional requirements for the engineering backlog
  • •Establish clear handover processes across teams
  • •Plan and steer maturity levels and milestones
  • •Manage risk, test, and release processes for stable production
  • •Deliver production-ready design artifacts, including CAD models and specifications
  • •Ensure rigorous design documentation and change control
  • •Drive data-informed optimization throughout the product lifecycle
  • •Lead and develop an interdisciplinary engineering team
  • •Manage external partners with clear standards and fast iteration cycles
