  • Proven track record with large complex clients
  • Strong partnerships with clients at all levels
  • Strong working knowledge of technology, market infrastructures, industry partners
  • Knowledge of global custody chain support
  • Excellent client engagement skills at all levels
  • Strong understanding of Global Custody operational processes
  • Active participation in regional industry groups
  • Effective communication at all organizational levels
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to manage and mentor staff
  • Proven ability to execute product deliverables
  • Proven ability to execute strategic vision
  • Seasoned Director/ED in Financial Services
  • Prior experience in Product organizations
  • Prior experience in Custody/Banking/Asset Management
  • Consultative experience with large complex institutional investors
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to thrive in complex global organization

Tasks

  • Develop and drive vision and product strategy
  • Manage P&L
  • Partner with business to drive revenue and profit growth
  • Own product commercials for direct and global custody
  • Partner with operations to manage operating costs
  • Drive process improvements and cost reduction
  • Lead development and execution of Europe custody product strategy
  • Set ongoing priorities and annual investment decisions
  • Identify areas for improvement in core products
  • Explore new business opportunities
  • Shorten chain of custody
  • Drive efficiency and reduce risk
  • Participate in industry groups
  • Drive market leadership and change
  • Partner with clients and industry participants
  • Deliver value-added products
  • Collaborate on commercial topics with stakeholders
  • Work with legal, risk, and compliance teams
