Head of Asset Liability Management(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will shape the Treasury strategy while managing cross-functional initiatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with various departments, steering financial discussions, and optimizing resource management to support the bank's long-term success.

Requirements

• •Master or Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or a related field; advanced qualifications (e.g. CFA, ACT) are a plus
• •10 to 15+ years of experience in Treasury & Capital Markets with broad exposure across asset liability management, liquidity, funding and capital management
• •Strong leadership skills managing diverse teams across locations through organizational change
• •Strong strategic mindset with a track record of developing and implementing successful Treasury strategies balancing risk and return
• •In-depth Treasury markets, products and ideally trading experience
• •Excellent influencing skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders
• •A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adapt at driving complex projects to completion
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with excellent communication and presentation skills
• •Excellent IT skills, incl. proficiency in MS Office products, Treasury systems and preferably programming experience

Tasks

• •Oversee pbb’s Asset Liability Management department
• •Shape Treasury’s strategy for funding, liquidity, interest rates, and foreign exchange
• •Facilitate strategic financial resource management discussions with the executive board during ALCO meetings
• •Steer Treasury desks using a transparent Treasury P&L framework for effective monitoring and performance management
• •Enhance the funds transfer pricing framework, including funding spread calibration, to optimize financial resource use
• •Provide comprehensive coverage of rating agencies and Treasury topics for regulators
• •Collaborate with internal partners in Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Business to align strategies with broader objectives
• •Drive strategic initiatives for pbb and Group Treasury to ensure alignment with the bank’s overall strategic goals
