Requirements
- PhD or MSc in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Chemical Engineering
- More than 10 years industrial experience in chemical/analytical development in GMP environment
- Strong expertise in chromatographic methods (HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, GC)
- Creative problem-solving, active listening, and strong communication skills
- Effective cross-functional collaboration and interdisciplinary teamwork
- Demonstrated leadership managing and developing multidisciplinary teams
- Solid understanding of business processes, cost control, and customer-focused project execution
- Fluency in English
- German proficiency or strong willingness to learn German
Tasks
- Lead interdisciplinary Analytical Development team
- Implement, develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods
- Provide expertise and measurement support to process development
- Advise on analytical techniques, data interpretation, and method selection
- Ensure high-quality analytical services for internal and external customers
- Provide scientific and disciplinary leadership for 30 team members
- Coordinate and optimize resource allocation
- Oversee analytical method development, validation, and transfer
- Support process development and manufacturing with chromatographic techniques
- Ensure GMP, quality, and safety compliance
- Manage project portfolios, budgets, and timelines
- Meet customer and business objectives
- Act as technical expert and key interface for stakeholders
- Participate in audits and inspections
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation
