Requirements

More than 5 years of professional experience in software development
Experience in agile development
Experience in Linux environments
Experience in DevOps
Experience with Cloud platforms such as Kubernetes
Infrastructure design and integration expertise
Experience with RedHat and RedHat OpenShift is a plus
Interest and ability to quickly familiarize with new technologies
Experience working on classified projects (an advantage)
Experience in managing technical stakeholders (an advantage)
Good communication and presentation skills
Team-oriented work style
Fluent in German and English
French language skills (a plus)

Tasks

Define and design satellite ground systems using modern methods like Scrum and Model-Based Systems Engineering
Analyze requirements and define architecture for ground segments related to satellite monitoring and control
Evaluate design trade-offs and manage interfaces, creating interface documents (ICD)
Specify hardware and software elements along with redundancy concepts
Estimate costs for ground segment development and operation
Support system development, including assembly, integration, and verification (AIV)
Contribute to proposals, studies, and research and development activities
Manage the technical procurement of software components
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Space Segment Engineering, Performance Engineering, and Operations Engineering
