Requirements

  • •Completed university degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
  • •More than 5 years of professional experience in software development
  • •Experience in agile development
  • •Experience in Linux environments
  • •Experience in DevOps
  • •Experience with Cloud platforms such as Kubernetes
  • •Infrastructure design and integration expertise
  • •Experience with RedHat and RedHat OpenShift is a plus
  • •Interest and ability to quickly familiarize with new technologies
  • •Experience working on classified projects (an advantage)
  • •Experience in managing technical stakeholders (an advantage)
  • •Good communication and presentation skills
  • •Team-oriented work style
  • •Fluent in German and English
  • •French language skills (a plus)

Tasks

  • •Define and design satellite ground systems using modern methods like Scrum and Model-Based Systems Engineering
  • •Analyze requirements and define architecture for ground segments related to satellite monitoring and control
  • •Evaluate design trade-offs and manage interfaces, creating interface documents (ICD)
  • •Specify hardware and software elements along with redundancy concepts
  • •Estimate costs for ground segment development and operation
  • •Support system development, including assembly, integration, and verification (AIV)
  • •Contribute to proposals, studies, and research and development activities
  • •Manage the technical procurement of software components
  • •Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Space Segment Engineering, Performance Engineering, and Operations Engineering
