Requirements
- Expertise in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Background and interest in ground segment engineering
- Preference for aerospace industry experience
- Strong software installation, configuration, testing knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to take initiative
- Linux Systems knowledge
- Scripting knowledge
- Knowledge of satellite navigation systems
- Experience with automation tools and processes
- Hands-on experience with satellite ground station equipment
- Hands-on experience with satellite ground station operations
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
Tasks
- Maintain and evolve Galileo Ground Control Segment
- Develop new ground control segment features
- Integrate and test new or upgraded releases
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Conduct and validate new system tests
- Report test results and findings
- Support ground segment configuration control
- Ensure engineering activities align with test programs
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Train staff on new systems and procedures
- Respond to incidents and system failures
- Support meetings and technical reviews
- Develop testing plans
- Automate tests
- Write scripts in Bash
- Code in Python
Work Experience

- Bachelor's degreeOR
- Master's degree
