Global Supply Chain Process Expert(m/w/x)
Optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes at a leading European spare parts distributor for gastronomy and refrigeration. In-depth process management and modeling skills required. 30 days vacation, Christmas and vacation bonuses.
Requirements
- Degree in industrial engineering, logistics, business administration, or comparable qualification with supply chain management focus
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally in an international environment
- In-depth knowledge of process management and modeling (e.g., BPMN)
- Strong understanding of cost structures and total cost of ownership
- Experience with cross-functional project teams and change management
- Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills for evaluating complex supply chain relationships
- Excellent communication skills and high intercultural competence
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
- German (C1-C2) and English (C1-C2) skills; Italian language skills are an advantage
- Very good MS Office knowledge; ideally WMS and ERP systems experience; strong IT affinity and understanding of digital process landscapes
Tasks
- Participate in the "NDS" project for process optimization at a new warehouse
- Focus on the interface between Purchasing and Logistics
- Analyze, design, and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes
- Specialize in procurement and logistics processes
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Logistics, IT, and Project Management
- Achieve holistic process improvements
- Develop and implement measures to increase efficiency
- Standardize existing processes
- Digitize existing processes
- Identify and utilize synergies between entities
- Optimize internal business processes within the group
- Develop and integrate interface solutions for new system landscapes
- Organize and facilitate workshops
- Conduct training sessions and courses for specialist departments
- Serve as a central expert for supply chain process optimization at the European level
- Understand and consolidate demand planning in the future supply chain scenario
- Monitor relevant KPIs
- Derive concrete recommendations for action
- Ensure continuous process improvement
- Participate in cross-location supply chain initiatives
- Engage in digitalization projects
