Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD, PharmD)
- Professional experience in Advocacy & Access or program leadership
- Deep understanding of cardiovascular disease and secondary stroke prevention
- Familiarity with competitive landscape and standard of care in stroke prevention
- Familiarity with strategies addressing patient, clinician, and payer needs
- Ability to translate advocacy vision into actionable opportunities and programs
- Experience designing and delivering global/country stakeholder programs
- Exposure to public affairs, medical communications, or non-profit environments (plus)
- Excellence in crafting value and advocacy narratives
- Excellence in securing internal and external buy-in
- Navigating complex stakeholder dynamics
- Fostering collaboration and compliance
- Comfortable working in agile, mission-based teams
- Proactively removing barriers and driving outcomes
- Fluent English communication skills
Tasks
- Lead cross-functional advocacy and access collaborations
- Translate brand strategy into meaningful, compliant actions
- Support pre-launch access preparation for secondary stroke prevention
- Execute integrated stakeholder engagement plans
- Develop value communication strategies for payer, clinical, and policy audiences
- Co-create advocacy content with academia, NGOs, and thought leaders
- Design and run global advocacy campaigns
- Integrate research, media, and partnerships in advocacy campaigns
- Shape payer and policy debates at national, regional, and international levels
- Build and nurture strong internal and external networks
- Champion Advocacy & Access across cross-functional forums
- Drive global-to-local secondary stroke prevention advocacy
- Identify effective channels for advocacy
- Equip markets with toolkits and patient stories
- Spotlight unmet need and innovation
- Partner with Public Affairs and mission teams
- Define policy objectives for secondary stroke prevention
- Engage EU stakeholders as a core team member
- Potentially manage other disease and brand platforms
