Requirements

  • Master’s degree in scientific or pharmaceutical discipline
  • More than 10 years of pharmacovigilance experience
  • Deep expertise in global GVP regulations
  • Deep expertise in safety reporting requirements
  • Proven track record leading pharmacovigilance organizations
  • At least 10 years of leadership experience
  • Leadership experience in global/international teams
  • Strong ability to manage and resolve conflicts
  • Excel in indirect communication and leadership
  • Collaboration with external stakeholders

Tasks

  • Lead a global team of 50 pharmacovigilance professionals
  • Develop and evolve pharmacovigilance strategies for the product portfolio
  • Ensure effective end-to-end safety surveillance and compliance
  • Oversee case management, signal detection, and aggregate reporting
  • Manage risk and benefit-risk profiles for product safety
  • Contribute to product integrations and safety system implementation
  • Hold accountability for global pharmacovigilance compliance
  • Make high-impact safety and risk management decisions
  • Evaluate safety risks and liabilities during due diligence
  • Guide cross-functional teams for safety surveillance and lifecycle management
  • Collaborate with Medical Operations and Medical Affairs
  • Foster a culture of patient safety and continuous improvement
  • Ensure efficient use of enterprise systems and processes
