Requirements

• •Degree in business, economics or similar
• •10 years experience in reinsurance underwriting

• •English fluency and German knowledge

Tasks

• •Lead a team of motivated reinsurance experts
• •Develop and implement the group-wide external reinsurance strategy
• •Collaborate closely with counterparts at Allianz Commercial and Allianz Trade
• •Steer the development of reinsurance protections to match risk appetite
• •Review and enhance protections based on market best practices
• •Foster relationships with reinsurers, investors, and brokers
• •Act as the face of the company to external markets
• •Manage relationships with internal underwriting and management units
• •Negotiate prices and terms with reinsurers and global brokers
• •Prepare the Group Ceded Reinsurance Committee and align stakeholders
• •Coordinate and host annual meetings with global reinsurance brokers
• •Brief board members ahead of high-level executive meetings
• •Resolve conflicts and manage resistance through effective escalation
