Requirements

  • Licensed Aircraft Engineer B1 Part 66, Certifying Staff in Part 145 MRO
  • Bachelor in Aerospace or mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Quality Management
  • Deep expertise in compliance management and cooperation with aviation authorities
  • In-depth understanding of EASA Part-145 and SMS regulations
  • Proven experience in technical development, engineering, or process improvement within MRO operations
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to operate independently, assertively, and with high integrity
  • Fluent English (business level) and German (native or authority-interface level)

Tasks

  • Establish and maintain Compliance Monitoring System
  • Develop and enhance Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Maintain Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  • Ensure compliance with EASA, CAA UK, and FAA regulations
  • Manage certification and communicate with aviation authorities
  • Plan and support internal and external audits
  • Conduct root cause and corrective action analyses
  • Monitor technical documentation processes
  • Oversee training and competence assessments
  • Manage authorizations and supplier approvals
  • Prepare and present safety and compliance reports
  • Handle customer complaints and compliance issues
  • Support the Accountable Manager on compliance matters
  • Organize and oversee safety training activities
  • Promote safety awareness within the organization
  • Advise senior management on safety-related issues
  • Monitor aviation safety trends and emerging risks
  • Coordinate safety issues with internal and external stakeholders
