- Refresh category strategies annually
- Align objectives and priorities with stakeholders
- Partner on cost reduction strategies
- Implement supply strategy plans
- Participate in sourcing decisions
- Select suppliers within approved models
- Execute commercial aspects during projects
- Challenge traditional spending behaviors
- Challenge product over-specification
- Enable productivity and efficiency improvements
- Lead supplier relationship management and development
- Maximize supplier relationship value
- Drive supplier performance, compliance, and accountability
- Manage supplier-related issue escalation
- Intervene and align stakeholders to resolve issues
- Manage issue escalation with claims managers
- Prevent and mitigate claims
- Ensure master agreement alignment
- Develop supply risk management strategies
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans
- Maintain an up-to-date risk register
- Maintain mitigation playbooks
- Collaborate with Project Procurement colleagues
- Translate category strategies into project plans
- Ensure correct framework call-offs
- Apply commercial terms consistently
- Plan, lead, and execute commercial negotiations
- Manage supply agreement contracting
- Handle amendments and project call-offs
- Report monthly savings
- Maintain the project savings pipeline
- Report category management and SRM progress
- Maintain the Procurement tracking tool
