Requirements
- Studies in Tax or Accounting
- Completed professional education in taxation
- Strong knowledge in Accounting and Finance
- Strong knowledge of taxes, particularly VAT
- Good analytical and IT skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- German (fluent)
- English (C1 level)
- Occasional travel required (Driver’s license class B)
- Reports directly to the Head of Accounting and Tax
- No personnel responsibility
Tasks
- Process and reconcile customer payments
- Ensure accurate bank reconciliation and posting
- Manage accounting for fixed assets
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
- Keep financial records accurate and up to date
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies
- Prepare and file financial reports for authorities
- Implement and maintain internal controls
- Safeguard assets and prevent fraud
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Provide documentation and support as needed
