Requirements

  • Practical understanding of FX business, markets, regulations, operations, and associated risks
  • Experience trading G20 currencies and interest rates (EUR, JPY, GBP, CHF focus)
  • Ability to market-make to client base
  • Use of risk analytics, stress tests, scenario analysis for market, counterparty, liquidity risks
  • Strong team player within global structure
  • Highly motivated, self-sufficient, innovative, challenges status quo, develops ideas, works with small teams, represents business
  • BA degree or equivalent, or significant market experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Analytical and structured approach
  • Strong knowledge of Foreign exchange product

Tasks

  • Oversee and manage market risks impacting regional sales, trading, and research
  • Identify and analyze market risks
  • Develop trading strategies to address identified risks
  • Coordinate with various areas, regions, and groups to handle risks
  • Provide liquidity to clients and manage risk transfer
  • Manage inventory to meet client needs and generate revenue
  • Support the expansion of client-centric FX Swaps markets in EMEA
  • Meet with clients to build and deepen relationships
  • Analyze and develop strategies for market-driven events and impacts
  • Foster a culture of individual ownership and accountability
  • Maintain the highest standards of the Code of Conduct
  • Provide management information for business unit decision-making
  • Support the 'Risk Excellence' culture within the business
  • Adhere to delegation limits and escalation procedures
