Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Aeronautical Engineering
  • •At least 5 years of professional experience in Software development
  • •Very good knowledge of modern C++ and Object-Oriented Programming principles
  • •Very good knowledge of a scripting language (Python, Bash, Golang)
  • •Very good knowledge of Linux environments and Ansible or similar tools
  • •Experience with virtualization and container orchestration technologies
  • •Familiarity with CMake, Conan, Git and Docker
  • •Professional level English; German would be a plus
  • •Knowledge of UAS concepts, hardware interfaces, flight dynamics, and standards would be a plus
  • •Proven experience with flight simulators and integration would be a plus
  • •Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity

  • •Design and develop modular hosting solutions for UAS simulations
  • •Utilize C++ and modern software architecture patterns
  • •Apply DevOps and Test-Driven Development principles
  • •Document virtual hardware emulation architectures and procedures
  • •Communicate operational procedures for maintainability
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams for software integration
  • •Deploy and integrate simulation models in testing environments
  • •Qualify simulation models for system development
  • •Integrate third-party libraries and APIs for enhanced simulation
  • •Analyze and resolve reported issues
  • •Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
