Functional Safety Assessor / Technical Inspector – Railway Signalling & CCS(m/w/x)
Assessing railway signalling hardware/software against CENELEC standards. Functional safety experience with CENELEC EN 50126/50128/50129 required. Hybrid work, 30 days holiday.
Requirements
- Completed technical studies (electrical, traffic, IT, communication, or automotive engineering)
- Professional experience in functional/technical safety for rail transport products (Control-Command and Signalling)
- Knowledge of CENELEC standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129)
- Understanding of interaction with RAMS and validation disciplines
- Familiarity with ETCS or CBTC systems
- Careful, accurate working style and strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel at short notice
Tasks
- Inspect and assess hardware and software development processes
- Evaluate developments against CENELEC standards
- Create and document inspection plans
- Coordinate with technical interfaces
- Prepare official result documentation
- Manage technical and commercial projects
- Acquire follow-up orders
- Mentor new team members
- Assess on-board and track-side control-command and signalling
- Evaluate safety cases and management processes
- Determine conformity with specific or general requirements
