Description

As a Functional Consultant for Workday's Financial Management product, you will guide customers through the implementation process, ensuring their needs are met while collaborating with various teams. Your journey will include training, hands-on project work, and opportunities to enhance your expertise.

Requirements

• •2+ years of consulting experience
• •Corporate financial accounting experience or equivalent qualifications
• •Relevant educational qualifications or experience in financial management solutions
• •Experience with Tier 1 business software applications such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, NetSuite, FinancialForce or similar
• •Business analysis and requirements gathering skills
• •Detail-oriented problem solver with passion for customer service
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• •Ability and desire to learn technology quickly
• •Resourcefulness and adaptability in remote work
• •Comfortable working with AI tools

Tasks

• •Complete Workday Core Finance & Practical Certification training
• •Undertake further Specialist Certification training within six months
• •Engage in active project work under the guidance of a Functional Architect or Senior Consultant
• •Collaborate with Data and Integration Consultants on projects
• •Gather and understand customer business requirements
• •Demonstrate core Workday concepts using pre-delivered solutions
• •Translate customer requirements into configured solutions
• •Ensure detailed unit testing of the Workday solution
• •Support customers during multiple rounds of testing
• •Resolve test issues under the guidance of the Lead Consultant
• •Conduct final deployment activities for the customer
• •Provide knowledge transfer and post-production support
• •Work on at least one full-cycle implementation project in the first year
• •Build knowledge through additional training and multiple project experiences in the second year
