- Senior-level full-stack engineering experience
- Strong React, TypeScript, and Next.js frontend skills
- Strong Node.js fundamentals
- Architectural judgment across the stack
- Production operations experience
- Performance and scalability work on systems with real load
- Security awareness beyond basic auth
- Comfort with ambiguity
- Ability to drive technical direction independently
- Laravel, Laravel Nova, and PHP backend stack experience
- Tailwind CSS skills
- Docker for development and deployment
- Solid relational database work (MySQL)
- Exposure to non-relational stores (MongoDB, InfluxDB) is a plus
- Formal CS background, apprenticeship, or strong portfolio
Tasks
- Work across product flow from foot scanning to consumer experience
- Refactor existing software and build new tools
- Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
- Create responsive, polished frontends
- Use Docker for development and deployment
- Make architectural and product decisions
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, design, and hardware teams
- Raise quality standards for performance, testing, and code health
- Own end-to-end product and platform flows
- Drive stack-spanning architectural decisions
- Operate and debug production systems
- Improve system observability
- Lead on performance and scalability
- Ensure security across the stack
- Balance shipping speed with sustainable systems
- Explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineers
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on production workflows
- Work with operations on scanning and consumer flows
- Mentor other engineers
- Establish scalable team practices
