FPGA Engineer(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or comparable field
• Initial experience as FPGA designer and workflows
• Initial experience in timing analysis and constraining
• Experience in FPGA toolchains Vitis Vivado (plus)
• Experience in microcontroller development and FPGA integration (plus)
• Experience in microcontroller or Linux device tree design (plus)
• Knowledge of CMOS sensors or image processing (desirable)
• Targeted and structured working style
• Interest in functionally safe image processing systems
• Customer orientation, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment, initiative, and willingness to learn
• Proficient English skills

Tasks

• Develop image signal and data processing
• Design camera systems like automotive ECUs
• Develop aviation VDUs
• Implement complex algorithms in VHDL
• Integrate complex algorithms in VHDL
• Integrate FPGA IPs for memory control
• Manage data transmission via MIPI-CSI2
• Configure DDR memory controllers
• Simulate VHDL designs with automated test benches
• Verify VHDL designs using Modelsim and Riviera
• Debug with embedded FPGA IP cores
• Utilize SignalTap and ILA for debugging
• Operate oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Use multimeters and active DC loads
• Collaborate on FPGA designs using version control
• Document and review VHDL code
• Work within an agile project team
