Requirements
- •Experience with AMD/Xilinx tools and FPGAs
- •Software development for bare-metal and embedded Linux
- •Knowledge of analogue/digital PCB design
- •Experience with oscilloscope and phase noise analyser
- •Desirable experience with Linux device drivers
- •FPGA design and simulation using VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog
- •Electronic circuit design based on FPGA or SoC
- •Low-level C programming skills
- •Git-based development and CI pipelines
- •Desirable Python programming and PyTest skills
- •Spoken and written English and commitment to learn French
- •National of CERN Member or Associate Member State
- •Background in Electronics Engineering or related field
- •Master's degree with 2 to 6 years experience
- •PhD with max 3 years experience
- •No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract

- •Develop and maintain VHDL-based HDL modules
- •Create simulation test benches using SystemVerilog
- •Assist with post-manufacturing hardware production tests
- •Support hardware design, reviews, and production

- •Collaborate on hardware and software co-design
- •Review Linux device drivers and host applications
