Tasks
- Develop and evaluate foundation transport and installation concepts
- Review installation equipment including vessels and cranes
- Assess base ports for offshore installation
- Provide installation design input to the Foundation Design Manager
- Offer technical support to project participants
- Analyze and optimize offshore logistics concepts
- Manage interfaces with the Geo Package
- Specify and request necessary surveys and analyses
- Charter installation vessels and support barges
- Prepare technical ITT and Employer's Requirements documents
- Coordinate offshore installation activities and client representatives
- Represent the project to respective contractors
- Manage the Marine Warranty Surveyor
- Review contractor method statements and risk assessments
- Conduct HAZID and HAZOP for installation operations
- Analyze and refine installation procedures
- Coordinate and attend vessel inspections
- Optimize installation works for time, cost, and QHSE
- Develop contingency plans for technical risks
- Implement lessons learned across projects
- Manage cable installation contracts and variation orders
- Maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
- Participate in project interface management
- Ensure foundation installation meets quality and budget targets
- Implement best technical practices and safety standards
- Hand over project documentation to the O&M team
