Requirements

  • Degree in Aerospace, Systems Engineering or related field
  • Experience with ARP4754B, ARP4761, DO-178C safety processes
  • Proven experience in FHA, FMEA, FTA, PSSA/SSA
  • Understanding of aircraft safety and requirement formulation
  • Desirable experience with spacecraft safety standards (ECSS)
  • Experience with advanced or novel aerospace systems
  • Strong analytical and structured workstyle
  • Ability to communicate safety concepts effectively
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience in communication with certification authorities

Tasks

  • Manage spacecraft-level safety assessments
  • Follow ARP4754 and DO-178C standards
  • Develop functional hazard assessments
  • Maintain PSSA and SSA documentation
  • Perform FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis
  • Allocate safety requirements to hardware
  • Define safety roadmaps for hypersonic systems
  • Support certification with aerospace authorities
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
