As a Finance Director and Country Officer in Germany, you will lead financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic guidance. This role involves managing audits, overseeing risk, and supporting business growth through insightful financial strategies.

Requirements

• •Business studies with a focus on finance or comparable training
• •Extensive professional experience in a comparable management position
• •In-depth knowledge of preparing annual and consolidated financial statements
• •Experience in implementing globalized processes
• •Experience in change management issues
• •Expertise in using common MS Office applications, especially Excel
• •High degree of initiative and solution orientation
• •Proven experience in leading and managing teams
• •Good understanding of how an international corporation works
• •Strong IT affinity, especially in SAP
• •Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Tasks

• •Manage and oversee all financial accounting activities
• •Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations
• •Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
• •Provide financial guidance to the executive team and stakeholders
• •Lead financial audits and collaborate with external auditors
• •Represent the organization in country-specific matters
• •Oversee risk management processes and maintain internal controls
• •Handle year-end closing for all legal entities in Germany
• •Support business development and assess investment opportunities
• •Continuously improve collaboration and processes within the GBS organization
