Requirements

• Qualification as a mechanical engineering apprentice
• Knowledge of pumps and mechanical seals
• Demonstrable experience with laser alignment equipment
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience in Oil and Gas industries
• Calmness under pressure
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Qualification to work at heights
• Willingness to learn about process applications
• Willingness to learn about instrumentation and control
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Lifting and slinging qualifications (advantageous)
• Effective and professional communication
• Good English oral and written skills
• Ability to use a PC and related software
• Prepared for regular travel and away from home working
• Training provided for skill gaps
• Graded using the company’s competency matrix

Tasks

• Install and commission decoking equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair decoking equipment
• Perform field servicing and site repairs
• Conduct in-house repairs and upgrades
• Remove, inspect, and refurbish equipment
• Rebuild and install decoking systems
• Start up and repair equipment on-site
• Complete electronic reports for customers
• Understand system operations and troubleshoot issues
• Support a positive SHEA culture to enhance safety
• Complete JSEA and identify site hazards
• Share hazard details with the Onsite Services SHEA Manager
• Promote a safe working environment and follow safety regulations
• Comply with health and safety requirements
• Maintain equipment and housekeeping standards
• Provide daily activity reports and overall documentation
• Conduct job walk downs for critical jobs
• Validate technical soundness of quotations
• Deliver installation and commissioning services
• Interface with subcontractors and vendors on-site
• Respond to inquiries and redirect as needed
• Support FS Supervisor with work progress updates
• Provide documentation for client invoicing
• Contribute to quick invoicing and receivables collection
• Ensure quality and delivery meet expectations
• Identify and attend training for skill development
• Work at local Flowserve facilities as needed
• Adhere to ethical behavior per Flowserve’s code of conduct
