Tasks
- Lead on-site fault triage and resolution.
- Swiftly diagnose and repair vehicle software and hardware.
- Collaborate with Reliability Engineering and wider teams.
- Triage and mitigate new issues.
- Develop and enforce structured fault diagnosis processes.
- Develop and enforce structured repair protocols.
- Develop and enforce operational workflows.
- Oversee and support field engineers.
- Provide hands-on leadership and technical guidance.
- Ensure seamless global team collaboration.
- Ensure rapid issue response and resolution.
- Meet 15-minute response and one-hour repair SLAs.
- Manage global operational handovers.
- Maintain open communication with the Head of Field Engineering.
- Ensure smooth geographical transitions.
- Coordinate on-call support and shift coverage.
- Provide round-the-clock technical assistance.
- Uphold strict safety and compliance standards.
- Ensure fault triage, diagnosis, and repairs follow protocols.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize field engineering support across locations.
- Lead and inspire Field Engineers.
- Guide team to triage and resolve hardware, software, and automotive issues.
- Take full ownership of your field engineering function.
- Ensure operational excellence within your location.
