Requirements

  • •Degree in Coatings Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • •Expertise in binder, pigment, and additive chemistry and curing mechanisms
  • •Hands-on experience in coating formulation and application testing
  • •Comfort with lab routines, test planning, data evaluation, basic statistics/DoE, and documentation in LIMS/ERP
  • •Very good German and good English skills
  • •Independent, structured, quality- and safety-conscious, team-oriented, and strong learning mindset

Education

Bachelor's degree
OR
Master's degree
OR
Vocational certification

Work Experience

approx. 1 - 4 years

Tasks

  • •Independently formulate new fastener coatings
  • •Optimize existing coating systems from concept to release
  • •Evaluate results against guidelines and quality criteria
  • •Plan and conduct lab tests for chemical and mechanical properties
  • •Document lab test results transparently
  • •Identify root causes in complex cases
  • •Implement pragmatic corrective actions
  • •Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Sales
  • •Share knowledge and provide onboarding support to new team members
  • •Balance cost, quality, and time-to-market
